Do I need to have completed my education already?
No. You can become part of the Snowsports Academy while completing your education and benefit from digital learning resources, continuing education opportunities and the community.

Is my ski instructor qualification internationally recognized?
Many Snowsports Academy members work around the world as ski or snowboard instructors.
The specific requirements depend on the country in which you want to work. International qualifications such as the ISIA Card or FEMPS can significantly facilitate the recognition of your education.
The ISIA Stamp or ISIA Card demonstrates that your education meets the international quality standards of the International Ski Instructors Association (ISIA). These qualifications are recognized by numerous ski schools and snowsports organizations worldwide as proof of quality.
What qualification do I need for the ISIA Stamp or ISIA Card?
The ISIA Stamp is awarded to snowsports instructors whose education meets the international ISIA quality standards.
The ISIA Card is the highest international qualification awarded by the ISIA and requires advanced education as well as additional requirements in accordance with international quality standards. The specific requirements depend on your respective level of education.
How does the digital membership ID work?
Once you have registered, your membership ID is automatically available in the Snowsports Academy Pro App.
Using your smartphone, you can digitally verify your membership and – depending on your level of education – your qualification at any time. The integrated NFC function of the physical membership card, which is sent to you after completing your membership registration, enables quick and easy verification.
Do I need to renew my membership every year?
Yes.
Membership is valid for one season and can then be renewed easily. Once your renewal has been successfully completed, your digital membership ID and all membership benefits are automatically updated.
How can I find a job as a ski or snowboard instructor?
Snowsports Connect gives you access to job opportunities, contacts with ski schools and new career opportunities in Austria and abroad.
The platform connects snowsports instructors with employers and helps you find suitable job opportunities for the upcoming winter season.
Is insurance included in my membership?
Depending on your membership, you may benefit from insurance coverage provided through ÖSV membership. You can find details about the current insurance benefits on the Ski Austria membership page.
