THE PERFECT COMBINATION OF THEORY AND PRACTICE ON WINTER SPORTS TOPICS THAT MOVE US.
The Snowsports Academy invites you once again to a shared exchange of experiences in the beautiful Zell am See-Kaprun region. International experts will address various aspects of the "Future of Winter Sports" in their presentations. In addition to lively panel discussions and informal chats, there will also be comprehensive practical workshops on the snow.
THE PROGRAM
True to our motto “Snow Connecting People”, the aim is to overcome the boundaries between the individual industries and stakeholders and to encourage a joint exchange of experiences from the various areas of the winter sports and leisure industry:
Practical exercises & workshops on the snow
Every morning, participants head to the Kitzsteinhorn for snow workshops, which include joint training and international exchange of experience. In addition, the latest news from the winter sports industry is presented.
Ski tourism & year-round tourism
Moving away from traditional seasonal tourism: How can a destination combine its various strengths to create an even more attractive offering for its guests? We will explore this exciting and far-reaching question through presentations, case studies, and discussions.
Human Resources Management
Moving away from the stereotype of the unemployed seasonal worker: How can effective personnel management best motivate and develop each individual employee? The conference offers a platform for visions, structures, and training programs to make seasonal work attractive again. The goal is for people to move between different jobs and industries to have more future prospects.
The future of the snow sports industry
Moving away from individual efforts: How can synergies be found and utilized between mechanical snow production, the complex process of slope preparation, and winter sports equipment? We want to foster understanding between the various players and sectors. Whether natural or artificial snow – preparing a slope is a highly complex topic that needs closer examination. The challenge for the industry, in turn, lies in producing skis and snowboards that are suited to the prevailing snow conditions.
