ESB SkiBiz premiere in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis: When business meets winter 🎿🤝
From March 13th to 16th, 2025, the ESB SkiBiz took place for the first time in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis – a new business event at over 1,400 meters altitude that combines networking, winter sports, and forward-looking ideas. The successful premiere demonstrated that business ideas thrive particularly well in physical activity and exchange among like-minded individuals.
Four days of inspiration in the Alps
The new winter format is based on the proven concept of the ESB Entrepreneur Forum in Mallorca : high-quality input, relaxed networking, and shared activities – only this time in the snow instead of on the beach. With the Hotel Marent as its home base, Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis provided the perfect setting for inspiring conversations, summit experiences, and new perspectives.
In-depth content: Leadership, Transformation & Sports Mentality
The program was as diverse as the participants: Keynotes, workshops and talks covered topics such as leadership, mental strength, change processes and future trends in tourism.
Christiane Mitterwallner , sports psychologist and management coach, spoke about success factors from top-level sports for business.
Philipp Radel , founder of Break Point and former co-CEO of WWP, demonstrated in the workshop how to initiate change through breathwork and mindset shift.
Arianna Tricomi , three-time Freeride World Champion, gave exciting insights into her decisions, how she deals with risk – and why gut feeling is sometimes more important than planning.
In the opening round, Dr. Josef Schirgi (TVB Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis) and Andreas Steibl (hotelier) discussed, among other things, the future of winter sports tourism – with a view to climate change, guest needs and brand building in the alpine region.
Movement meets business
A key component of ESB SkiBiz: networking while being active .
Whether on the ski slopes, at the cozy evening in the Weiberkessel mountain hut , at the kitchen party in Hotel Marent , or at shared dinners – the exchange was intense, open, and characterized by mutual respect. Ski guiding was provided by Martin Dolezal, Johann Reisenberger, and Lukas Joichl from the Snowsports Academy , who led the participants safely and expertly through the ski area.

A strong debut – to be continued
The first ESB SkiBiz was more than just a networking weekend – it was the start of a new event format that combines movement, exchange and inspiration in a very special way.
