We are delighted to be supporting this year's Flow Conference as a partner. It will take place online from August 31st to September 1st, 2022.

What is the Flow Conference about?
The Flow Conference is a meeting place for service providers who work with people, such as executives, educators, coaches, trainers, or managers. Its goal is to improve these services. The latest tools and insights into the relationship between performance, well-being, and development are presented.
Ski and snowboard instructors can also benefit from these exciting insights, improving their own teaching and, above all, their interaction with guests. Of course, good skiing or snowboarding technique and lesson planning are paramount when working as a ski or snowboard instructor – but interacting with our guests is at least as valuable for the quality of instruction. These "soft skills" are often underestimated, but they can make all the difference for guests between a good and an average instructor. Topics such as personal development, communication, group leadership, and interpersonal skills in general are therefore essential in our industry as well.
At Snowsports Academy, we already teach these components under the umbrella term "Teaching Evolution" in our training programs. We are therefore delighted that the Flow Conference is also dedicated to this complex topic. A mix of speakers from both academia and practice promises exciting and inspiring presentations, panel discussions, and interesting workshops.
Particularly interesting for snow sports enthusiasts could be the following lecture: Austrian freeride world champion and mental strength coach Lorraine Huber talks about how she manages to cope with stress and be successful under pressure.
