ISPO Munich - Returning with renewed strength
Dates: November 28-30, 2022, Munich

ISPO Munich is the leading trade fair for the international sports business. Here, global sports trends are set, products are presented exclusively to industry professionals, and deals are struck.
After a two-year hiatus due to Covid-19, ISPO Munich will take place again from November 28 to 30, 2022 at the Munich Trade Fair Center. The restart is themed:
“New perspectives on sports”.
New this year: A centrally located Future Lab, where all relevant topics related to innovation, trade, digitalization, and sustainability will be discussed and showcased. Exhibitors and visitors can finally meet and interact in person again across ten halls.

Future Lab: The new heart of ISPO Munich
The innovation lab, as the new centerpiece, is intended not only to offer a space for experiencing innovations and transformation, but also to look beyond the confines of its own industry in the areas of Retail, Digitize and Sustainability Hub.
The hall serves as a stage for the numerous athletes, the ISPO Award, and of course, the ISPO Cup Night. The presentation of the newly conceived ISPO Cup will also take place in the Future Lab on the evening of the first day of the trade fair. In the future, this award will recognize initiatives by athletes and sports influencers who make a positive contribution to society.

Conference with top-class speakers
The ISPO Munich Conference will also take place in the Future Lab. Leading figures from the industry, as well as experts from other fields, will discuss the most pressing topics such as sustainability, inclusion and diversity, and the challenges facing logistics and trade. Confirmed speakers include Merijn Dols, Global Director for Open Innovation and Circular Economy at Danone; Laura Santucci, former member of the Obama administration and former Director of the World Food Programme; and Hunter Lovins, CEO of Natural Capitalism Solutions and member of the Club of Rome.
New date and international exhibitors
The new ISPO Munich concept includes a new date at the end of November, coinciding with the start of the ordering period. Exhibitors from 55 countries will be represented, including around 60 startups and 400 brands that have never exhibited at ISPO before. Another change is that the maximum booth size has been reduced to 200 square meters.

“ISPO has long been more than just a sporting goods trade fair. The high level of internationality among exhibitors, which is over 90 percent even in this special year, despite some travel restrictions still in place, demonstrates how important and valuable ISPO Munich is as a global industry meeting point where personal contacts between manufacturers, retailers and other industry players are paramount,” says Lena Haushofer, Exhibition Director of ISPO Munich.
