Let's get started with the new season – a look back at the Snowsports Academy instructor meeting

To kick off the new winter season, the instructors of the Snowsports Academy met in Fieberbrunn – at the hotel of our new partner, VAYA Hotels . The modern VAYA Fieberbrunn provided the ideal setting: stylish rooms, excellent cuisine, and a spacious wellness area with views of the surrounding mountains. Perfect conditions, then, for a meeting focused on exchange, motivation, and team spirit. Besides organizational matters, the main focus was on preparing for the new season, sharing experiences, and generating new ideas together.

Movement, exchange and team spirit

The event kicked off with a hike through the autumnal landscape around Fieberbrunn. Exercise in the fresh air, good conversations, and shared experiences made for a successful start and fostered personal exchange outside the seminar room.

The next day, the focus was on fun: There was laughter and conversation while bowling , and team spirit was strengthened. Such activities are an important part of the get-together – they create connections and underscore the communal nature of the Snowsports Academy.

Workshop with Mathias Berthold

A key highlight of the meeting was the workshop with Mathias Berthold , the former head coach of the Austrian Ski Federation (ÖSV). Under the title "Coaching, Visions and Goals," he provided valuable insights into motivation, leadership, and personal development.

With his many years of experience in top-level sports, Berthold managed to establish practical connections between competitive sports and training work – an inspiring input that was very well received by all participants.

Another instructor meeting took place in Salzburg . The focus was on getting to know each other and exchanging information about the work at the Snowsports Academy . Topics such as areas of responsibility, procedures, and shared goals were discussed – with a focus on developing a common understanding of the Academy's work and philosophy.

The event concluded with a special sporting activity: a round of golf with golf pro Florian Hofer , who also works as an instructor at the Snowsports Academy. In a relaxed atmosphere, all participants were able to demonstrate their athletic skills and further strengthen team spirit.

Conclusion

The instructor meetings in Fieberbrunn and Salzburg were far more than just organizational gatherings. They offered the opportunity to prepare the team for the new season, define common goals, and foster team cohesion.
