It's that time again: The new Insight Snowsports Magazine is online! The team around Martin Obermayr and Martin Dolezal has spared no expense and, with its fourth edition, delves deep into current topics and trends in winter sports. Published annually, the magazine has become a standard reference for every winter sports enthusiast, helping them prepare for the new season.
What can you expect in the new magazine?
The crises of recent years have severely impacted winter tourism and left their mark. During the research, it was therefore fascinating to discover the forces unleashed by the crisis and the current focus of the winter sports industry. Looking beyond the immediate horizon reveals many exciting projects waiting to be implemented, as well as the challenges and trends the future holds. For example, energy issues have been a key concern for winter sports resorts for some time now. The concept of the "metaverse" could also soon have a lasting impact on ski holidays.
Of course, we also looked into skiing and snowboarding, and one particular athlete came across our coverage: Ester Ledecká from the Czech Republic. The world's best snow sportswoman won the gold medal in both skiing and snowboarding at the same Olympic Games. No other athlete had ever achieved such a feat before.
