From April 14th to 17th, 2024, 40 ski and snowboard instructor trainers from the Snowsports Academy met in Ischgl for instructor coordination. With late-winter weather conditions, including fresh snow and ideal slope conditions, the event was all about training, coordination, and fun at the end of the season.

For many years, the Snowsports Academy has been a regular guest in the winter sports resort of Ischgl. Experience has shown that April, in particular, often offers excellent training conditions. Therefore, Martin Dolezal and Johann Reisenberger spontaneously decided to invite the training team to Ischgl at the end of the season to coordinate their efforts for the upcoming season. Stefan Wallner led the snowboarding training sessions, while Andreas Spettel challenged the ski instructors with an engaging and comprehensive skills program.
Key areas and objectives
The focus was primarily on improving the instructors' own skills. In various practical sessions, all instructors had the opportunity to refine their abilities and exchange experiences and teaching methods. The late winter conditions provided a perfect backdrop and challenging circumstances that put the skills of all participants to the test.

Community and outlook
In addition to the professional exchange, there was also plenty of fun to be had. The evenings were used to review the season in a relaxed atmosphere and to make plans for the upcoming winter season. All participants gained new experiences and concluded the season with a strengthened sense of community.
We are eagerly anticipating the final courses of winter 2023/24 and are already looking forward to the new season. The successful coordination in Ischgl has once again demonstrated that continuous professional development and exchange are essential pillars for the success of training programs.
